Jason Lewis at 27 is hitting hard right now. Star of campaigns for Boss by Avedon, Tommy Hilfiger and Byblos, he's the GUESS? man everyone remembers drooling over in late '93-early '94. Lewis has done all the major shows in Paris, Milan and New York. He has been featured alone in an 11-page editorial in the February '96 issue of GQ. He was also one of the stars of NBC TV's Search and Rescue, a visually stunning seven part series about mountain rescue set in the High Sierras. Now, he's up for major roles in feature films. Suddenly, everybody wants Jason.

Jason is a self-made man; that is, he tells you he's from Southern California and that's about it. He knew he wanted to travel and so as a teenager he hauled pipes and dug ditches for a plumbing contractor. He then worked fifty-five hours a week in a restaurant to get enough money together to get out and see the world.

At the suggestion of a model scout who was a friend of a friend, he landed in Paris on June 10, 1993. Three months into his visa he signed with a model agency, did a bit of modeling and was sent to Milan. There, he found himself madly courted by the fashion industry. In Kenya, on an extended shoot for an Italian fashion campaign, he lived in a romantic villa inhabited by Italians; every day was like being in a Fellini movie, extraordinary and memorable.

Jason Lewis is with Wilhelmina Models Inc., lives in New York and follows an incredible schedule. He studies with three private acting coaches for what he hopes will be a future in film. This magnetic, enigmatic man is one of the biggest modeling stars in the world today. There is every expectation that he will have a similar impact on the film world.
