GUESS? advertising campaigns are notorious for tranforming relatively unknown models into international sensations. Valeria Mazza, a stunning 5'9" blonde, was a top model in her native country, but it wasn't until Paul Marciano selected her for a GUESS? campaign that she found worldwide exposure and recognition.

Valeria Mazza was born in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina on February 17, 1972. When she turned thirteen she made her modeling debut in a local fashion show. By the time she started high school she was a familiar model in Buenos Aires. At 22, while studying to be an Occupational Therapist, she was hand-picked by Gianni Versace to walk the runway in his show. Soon she was appearing in shows in Paris, Milan and New York.

Valeria's first campaign with GUESS? was shot in 1995 by Dewey Nicks. The campaign featured Valeria and Ingrid Seynhaeve lounging around Hawaii. Later that year she appeared in another GUESS? campaign shot in Los Angeles by Dewey Nicks. This time, Valeria appeared with models Alex Lundqvist and Laetita Casta.

Now, Valeria has appeared on covers for U.S. Glamour, U.S. and French Cosmopolitan, Elle Argentina, as well as countless other Latin American publications. For a brief time, she also hosted the Latin version of MTV's House of Style.

Constantly commuting between Paris and New York, Valeria tries to visit her family and friends back in Argentina as often as her schedule permits. For now, Valeria wants to continue modeling, but dreams of someday raising a large family.
