Born and raised in a small Belgian town, Ingrid Seynhaeve never dreamed of becoming a model.

When Ingrid turned 16, her mother noticed her daughter's increasing interest in young men and, in turn, their growing interest in her daughter. Attempting to lessen some of the attention, so her daughter would focus on her studies, Ingrid's mother took her to the hairdresser. She instructed him to cut her daughter's long blonde hair short. Before the very first snip, Ingrid was spotted by a modeling agent who cast her in a hair product advertisement. Shortly after, she signed with a modeling agency in Brussels. Two years later she moved to New York, competing as Belgium's representative in the Elite Look Of The Year Contest.

After winning the prestigious Look of the Year, Ingrid's beautiful face and figure captured the attention of millions of people when she graced the pages of the 1995 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, which included her own poster.

Represented by Elite Model Management, Ingrid has appeared in magazines and commercials around the world. She works as a runway model for many of today's top designers. In 1995, she landed a coveted GUESS? campaign, shot by Dewey Nicks in Hawaii that brought her attention from around the world. Ingrid regularly graces the pages of the Victoria's Secret catalog as well as appearing in numerous fashion campaigns.

Ingrid divides her time between New York and Paris. Traveling so much gives her the chance to speak the five languages in which she is fluent. When she's not working, she likes rollerblading, playing the piano, shopping and spending time with her family and horses in Belgium.
